Born in 1970, Hu Fang is a fiction writer and art critic based in Guangzhou, China. His writings explore the transformations of contemporary living. His books in English translation include the fiction Garden of Mirrored Flowers (2010), the short story collection Dear Navigator (2014), and Towards a Non-intentional Space (2015), an essay book reflecting the research process of “Mirrored Gardens” designed by the Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto.
