Sou Fujimoto

  

Born in Hokkaido in 1971, Sou Fujimoto graduated from Tokyo University, and he established Sou Fujimoto Architects in 2000. In 2013, He became the youngest architect ever to accept an invitation to design the temporary Serpentine Gallery Pavilion in Kensington Gardens, London, and the Japan Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia, in which he also participated, was awarded the Golden Lion. His other notable works include House N (2008), the Musashino Art University Museum & Library (2010) and House NA (2011). His publications include Primitive Future (Inax, 2008) and Sou Fujimoto: Futurospektive Architektur (Kunsthalle Bielefeld, Walther König, 2012)
